Contacts not showing in contacts list

I can't see my contacts in my contact list. They are still registered, cause when they call me, i can see who it is.

I have the newest update: 14.3.A.0.761

open the phonebook > menu > filter

Similar problem.........however, my contacts do show up but it takes 30 seconds before they show up and I can browse them, I am looking at a blank screen for about 30 sec, so incredible lag. What can be the issue, any suggestion?
