Hi kentom,

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

From what I am aware, this can only be removed by performing a Factory Data Reset, however I can advise that this option will not harm the device, this section is purely for testing apps when developing them.

I hope this helps.

You can't disable it, unless you perform a settings reset, it won't affect your phone

Thank you for the reply, i have realised applications are taking time to download and re not reflecting on status bar on their progress while downloading...my last question; if i restore to factory sectings; will i be able to restore the phone to android 4.4.4? and if i do backup, will it back up all applications?

If you only reset to factory settings, the firmware will be untouched. But if you backup, applications won't be backed up with their data.
