Howard Leight earmuffs not supported.

Hey Peeps.

So here's what's happening. My workplace recently approved new ear defenders with AUX in port. Unfortunatelly every time I'm trying to connect them to my Z1 Compact, the phone says "headset not supported". I've seen other threads about headsets not being supported, and I've cleared smart connect data, rebooted the phone, but it does not help. Even connected, the music still plays from phone's speaker. Any help on this one would be much appreciated. Here's the exact model of those ear muffs:

Howard Leight by Honeywell 1010390 Hi-Vis Radio and MP3 Ear **bleep**

Thanks in advance Winking_Face

Thanks a lot. Turned out it was an AUX cable issue. I've asked friend of mine to get a different one, and now they work without a problem. Thanks anyways Grinning_Face

If they aren't supported then this will be a CTIA issue - Not an issue as such but the pin outs on the jack plug will be different and non compliant, You could try searching for an adapter to change the pin outs but I've not see one but then again I've never really searched for one

I've found that headphones which are meant for an iPhone work absolutely fine with my Xperia as they did with my Samsung galaxy?! (-.^)
