Mail app attachment problem

Having a problem When I'm sending a mail whit a picture for example, from the native mail app from my Xperia Z1 The mail is sending normally and under sent mail appears normally whit the attachment but when I go to Yahoo mail site from my browser the mail is there, it has the attachment paperclip but no attachment. Also the same thing on Opera mail from desktop.

The curious thing is that the attachment is send to the sender normally but I can't see it in my sent folder.

Is anyone tried this whit the stock mail client? I think it may be some kind of format issue when the app is composing the chunk of information regarding the attachments...

where you able to solve your issue? I bought a Z3 a couple of days ago and have the same issue with the mail app. Mails are sent with attachement, but other mail clients can't see the attachements when looking into the "sent" folder.

Hy i recently retested the app but the issue is still there..  Maibe the Lollipop update com's with an updated mail app..

I retested the Mail app after I installed android lollipop and the issue is still there. The mail is send normaly with attachments to the receiver but i cannot see the attachments in my send folder  from any mail client except the one on the phone despite the attachment icon is present on the sent mail. I analyze the mail header and i'm not an expert but the header seams to be incomplete for the messages sent from the xperia mail app, it's missing the part in which the attachment info should be.

Can someone forward this issue  to the developers to reproduce please (full description of the problem in the first post) , i don't want to use other mail client, i'm happy wit this one.

I changed my Z1 with an XZs that came with android Nougat and surprise, the bug is still there.

Other mail clients cannot see the attachment sent   from the Sony Mail App
