new z3 compact wont connect to pc

when i plug my phone into the computer to update to lollipop the pc installs it as a unkown device how do i fix this? Also I cannot find developer options under my phone settings...

To enable developer options, go to settings-about phone,tap several times on build number.

I tried different cables and different USB ports, there must be an easy way to install drivers besides through phone 😕

no i installed PCC and then plugged in phone but then It just installs device as unknown

When you get add new hardware,choose the drivers from your location (where you saved them).
