Phone will not restart.

I've tried all suggested reboots, power button and volume up, phone vibrated 3 times and still won't start. Any help will be greatfully appreciated

I'm sorry to hear this.

I recommend that you try to temporarily remove any SIM and SD card you have in your device to see if they may be causing this behavior. If there is no change you can try to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion.

If you are still experiencing the same behavior I would recommend that you get in contact with your Local support team for assistance with having your device sent in to an authorized service center for repair.

Thanks for your reply, I've removed both sd and sim cards, still no luck, and because the phone won't switch on, the computer doesn't recognise that there is no phone connected so can't do a repair.

I'm afraid that you if you are unable to perform software repair using Xperia Companion the phone will need to be sent to an authorized service center for further troubleshooting and repair.

If you get contact with your Local support team they can assist you with how to proceed to do so.
