possible fix for read error

Just wanted to let people know if you have a phone case and nfc on your phone and keep a card with a chip on it in the case. This could cause read error as I have just found out the vibration and read error that has been driving me mad all day started since I put the card in my phone case the nfc keeps trying to read it but obviously fails causing read error. Hope this may help someone in the future 😄

Yes, this was driving me nuts. Googled it and found this page. Took my card out and problem solved.

I just goggled the "read error. Try again" problem cause I was getting this too and came across this. I was holding my oyster card and phone in the same hand and reset my phone etc and nothing happened, read this and realised I had a card with a chip with my phone (oyster) put them in separate hands and voila! Problem solved

Hi Have te Same read Error popping up since i upgraded my phone to Lollypop last night.

So your solution is to take it out of the case that i bought. I have not installed external memory as of yet as i was going to get a 32 or 64 gig micro sd card for it today.

I'm.currently getting this error report coming up on my phone. After reading these comments I'm pretty sure it's because reading a library book with a chipped label in it used for a machine to pick up multiple books at once. Is it possible this is what's causing it?

Great piece of advice!! I'm sitting in a hotel in madeira reading the news etc!! The error message kept coming up on my phone so I read your comments. I was sitting holding my phone in my hand whilst holding the credit card style room key at the back of it. So I moved it away And back again. The error message came back. Problem solved. Cheers
