Hello!
I'm having trouble with my xperia z1 after the lollipop upgrade. The phone was working just fine before. When i start up the phone,
it starts normally, but when it reaches to the simcard pin screen, it just shows me a black screen and i can only see the wifi icon and the clock on the top right corner as usual. I can't do anything! I can take screenshots and record the screen but i cant access my phone at all. PC companion doesn't help because I have to enter my pin to get access to my phone. What am I supposed to do?

You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion. The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 80% battery.
Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).
Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

Thank you man
It helped!!!!!!
Awesome.
Glad to hear it's sorted...
No trouble with my Lollipop upgrade - except had to do it via PC companion, as the update the phone was offerring appeared to be 4.3 when it's already on 4.4.
I factory reset after, since that's often suggested (phone was new, so nothing to lose other than the initial setup steps).
Hi!
I´ve also updated my Z1 to the 5.0.2 version about 3 weeks ago with Bridge (Mac). Phone works well, nevertheless it has become incredibly SLOW! Each and every app takes a lot of time to start up and/or respond. It is becoming annoying. Please help me!
