Are you using a MICRO SIM card or did you trimmed a regular SIM card?
The best thing to do is to contact your local Xperia Care as this could be hardware related, since you dropped it

Have you tried to restart the phone? Or remove/insert the SIM-card to see if this can help? Otherwise, I suggest that you try another SIM-card to see if same behaviour appear.
