I can help with my problem of my Xperia Z to this bending

Can the screen we break? Since this something bent

Is it repairable?

I have made too many tests on my phone after I bought it. I have tried to bent it too but no it doesn't bent.

I got mine since november, and exposed my phone to harsh environment temps from below 0 deg C up to 47 deg C and nope it didn't bend or any sign of curving/bending.cheers! I don't think that it could bend by itself without applying strong force.

Sony won't even acknowledge this is an issue. Mine is a month old and bent, I'm very careful with phone's, I'm 45 years old and have had countless phone's, this is the first I've have ever experienced this with. Apparently sony used cheap aluminum to save money. I have talked to their Xperia care a few times now and they insist they've never heard of this. It's my only phone so sending it in to be "evaluated" for 3-5 weeks is not an option. T-mobile was no help either. Shame, it's a beautiful phone.

My Xperia Z1 also bent and from the store they are removing my warranty. Not the Sony Center, the carrier's service are removing my warranty. They say it's by my fault, but as the above case the phone is never wore in the back pocket and has no damage on it.

I need help really.

I bought Xperia Z1 months ago. It started bending I sent it to Sony Mobile Bulgaria and they said "I have seated on the phone while wearing it in my back pocket" which I can prove that it's a wrong statement. They refused my warranty. The bending is small right to the charging plug and it happened while the phone was untouched and charging.

I can see that this is a mass problem and many users are mad of Sony for refused warranties. Please do one thing right and help me, or I will never buy Sony product again. I have contacted the local medias and they have been cooperating me and wrote articles about the Z1 bending.

That's not good from your side... If you have replaced those phones the users would be much happier and satisfied.

I was HORRIFIED this morming when I found out that my Z1 is bended. I have no idea why, when or how it happned.

At the moment of panicking, I tried to "reshape" it

Can anyone help me plz!!! Can I send my phone for repair???

Thanks for the suggestion, I tried to contact them before, but it seems like the chat system doesn't work.

I don't know if the warranty can cover this or not?? 

Has anyone had the same issue as mine? I would love to have to have some guidances.

Hey all,

sorry for stepping into that topic quite late.

Discovered the same issue after 2 months on my Xperia Z1 in Germany.

Sony has rejected the warranty and now i am quite pissed off.

I tried to communicate to Sony via official Facebook account so i hope i get an answer or help here.

What to do? I cannot believe Sony is claiming customers are bending their phones wantonly..

since my phone never fell down and has never been in my backpocket or whatsoever
