Has anyone found an answer to keeping internet on when connected to Wifi?
This started happening a month or two ago after years of problem free service.
I don't remember adding any new apps that relates to this and have even uninstalled some unused apps without any change.
Wifi always remains connected - it just looses internet and places a small x in the top right of the wifi icon.
I can always remake the internet connection if I switch wifi off and back on.
I have tried cancelling and re-entering the wifi credentials.
Rebooting the phone will also re-internet connection.
Wifi connection always stays up - it's just the internet that drops
Wife owns Z5 Compact which does not share the problem
We also have Samsung phones and laptop pc's all remaining OK with internet staying connected.
Safe mode appears to get around the internet dropout but makes the phone pretty unusable.
Any answers for this please?
