Z3 Compact Battery Life

Hi,<br>I recently purchased my Z3 Compact brand new from ebay as it was an unanted upgrade. The phone when i unboxed it was astonashing, it told me my battery would last around 2 days and thats without stamina.<br><br>However 6 days later(today) I went to power management, with no apps running in the background and 100% battery however it is saying it will only last 7 hours?! Is this normal because my friend has a Z1 and he uses his alot and his estimated time from 100% is about 2 days?? WHy is mine only 7 hours? Any replies would be great! Thanks

After a update I always perform a system repair using Pc Companion as this will often fix issues like battery performance as well as other things like bugs however beaware that this will factory reset your phone

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

Remember that this process will wipe your phone though !

Thanks for the suggestions. I have already done a system repair as that is what I was asked to try by Sony support when the voice quality went down after an update but uliwooly on this forum helped me fix that via a string for background noise cancellation.

Hi guys,
Got a z3 Compact from Three Ireland last week. Love the phone but the battery life has been disappointing.

I'm not getting anything like the promised two day battery life and also when I check my battery usage graph in the power management settings it tells me that wifi is always on even though i have wifi disabled.

Hi. I've recently updated my Sony Xperia z3 compact and now the battery is draining terribly. I tried close everything that was running but that didn't affect anything. Last night I charged my phone to about 80-90% and when I went sleep I decided switch it off, instead of leaving it on stand by. When I woke up and switched it on my battery was at 15%. Can anybody help with this?
