Hello people!
I've tried to google the issue with no success. My a6000 have since a year ago or so started acting up.
The 2 main problems I can isolate might stem from the same problem.
First of all the camera works occasionally but without warning or any apparent reason it starts to act up -
either by changing the ISO rapidly and glitchy from zero to max and back, making it very difficult to take pictures.
The other problem is the flash (even when not manually popped up) is active and shoots off inside the camerahouse. This also happens very glitchy and flicker-y.
I know very little of the mechanical / electrical part of the camera.. I've used it at the beach, in humid environments and up in the mountains (5500m+) and everywhere between.
Anyone that know anything about these problems and know what I should do? I can't afford to upgrade even though that would probably be the easiest solution.
Hallo Frederikstern,
To me it sounds a bit like an electrical issue.
Things like that often happens when there's moisture on the electrical components.
I would recommend to send the camera to service for inspection.
Cheers
Peter
