ZEISS 55 1.8 Slow Aperture Blades Faulty or Normal?

just got the Zeiss 55 with my a7 mk3 and the blades are not fast when they are closing they close in steps i can see it in the evf and its noisy do i have a bad copy or this is how they are?

Hello @DragosAN,

have you taken a look at how the blades behave when you actually take a photo?

If I am not mistaken you only half-press the button to focus in your video.

Hi @IamNic yes in the video i half press if i take a shot they dont move after focus but when i focus they dont jump from 1.8 to 5.6 they have this slow in steps movement and i can see it tru the evf (there is an light effect i dont know how to describe it ),is this normal? ive moved from canon and i havent seen this behaviour with canon or aftermarket lenses.

Really no one in this comunity has a 55 to aprove or disaprove if i have a faulty lens?
