All4 plays episode then restarts from beginning after advertisement

My android all4 app worked fine before the update but now when I play any episode it will restart from the beginning after the 1st advertisements.

Anyone else? Or any help appreciated.

Having the same problem.... After first set of adverts the programme freezes.... Is it a Sony or ITV problem?

Ensure the software on your TV is fully up to date.

No-one else has reported the 2017 issue recurring, (the single 2019 report is of a different issue) but if the software is out of date, this could cause this.

Adding to @royabrown2

You can also try to clear cache and data and force stop for the app, If you didn't find it as standalone app in Settings-Apps, it will be part of the Live TV catch-up app, you can find it in settings as Sony select also if you didn't find Live TV & catchup.

Once you find the app, open it and then clear cache and data and force stop, then restart the TV and check again
