I thought I'd share a tip.
Are you aware that you can set up and use Apple wireless AirPod in ear headphones on a Bravia TV?
At least I can on my Sony Bravia 55’ KD-55AF8 OLED TV running the Android 7.0 software update. There is no conflict between the Android and Apple systems as Bluetooth is universal.
Select Settings, select Bluetooth settings then choose Add device. After setting up it is just a case of picking the AirPods icon from the list when needed.
This allows late night use without disturbing others and is ideal for those rare YouTube videos that suggest using headphones for the best effect.
The TV remote changes the sound levels within the ear phones. However, the "Hey Siri" voice control options are disabled whilst in TV listening mode as this is a function of AirPods when connected to a suitable mobile device.
Hope you find this interesting. Vince
Hi @Dieu75
I think the problem here is that your TV doesn't feature a Bluetooth audio profile. You can find more here: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/televisions-projectors/articles/00159290

It does not work for me. :{
Hi imspecialk1492, what's the model number that you own? Also, check this link: http://bit.ly/38DM7k4, it's a very useful reference for the supported models.
Hi
I have the problem of connecting my AirPod pro Gen-2 to my Sony Bravia.
Thats done
But I can’t isolate output to just my Airpods
i can still hear tv speakers
Basically nullifying the whole point of silent late night viewing
any ideas ????
cheers
All I can find is how to get what you’ve got and don’t want - both at once 😢
But I daresay this will give you a clue to what you need, by reversing one of the steps, and disabling something that the article describes enabling 😛 :-

Samsung call what you are trying to disable ‘multi audio’, but I don’t know what Sony call it.
Maybe dual audio as here, where in Quick Settings, you can control headphones and the TV speakers separately:-

But all this can vary from Bravia TV to Bravia TV - that doesn’t really narrow it down from ‘Sony’, so you need to ensure the advice matches your exact model number, whatever it is.
Hi Parker,
Unfortunately I do not have the AirPod Pro gen 2 earbuds so cannot replicate your experience. Also I have now switched my TV to another Sony model. Best of luck finding a solution.
