My Sony WH-CH400 Bluetooth headphones will not connect to my Bravia KD49XG8196B TV. The headphones are on the recommended list on the Sony website, which is why I bought them. Can anyone help?

Hi @Bullimk

BLUETOOTH PROFILE SUPPORT
Version 4.1;HID (mouse/keyboard connectivity)/HOGP (Low Energy device connectivity)/SPP(Serial Port Profile)
As you can see from your TV’s specification your KD-49XG8196 does not include the A2DP Bluetooth profile required to connect to Bluetooth headphones. So basically you need a third party Bluetooth dongle to add A2DP support.
Another solution may be to install a Bluetooth App from the TV’s Google Play Store.

Thanks for that, the specs on the website were very confusing as to which model supports what.
