HDD for Bravia KD43XF8796BU

Can anyone please guide me as to suitable external HDD for the Bravia KD43XF8796B? The advertising blurb seems to indicate by default, that any drive up to 2TB will work

Welcome to the community

I think any HDD will work, beeing for playback or recording..

BTW if You use an HDD for recording You will need to format the disk in the TV when prompted..
