@gerald.ong77schrieb:Can we have different colors setting for different app with this update?
No. There are only 2 presets for apps:
Apps (Video): apply to all stock video apps (Netflix, Amazon, Video,..)
Apps: apply to all the other apps downloaded from the Play Store

My set is running as 'up to date' on this firmware release, but the Sony Support app is telling me the latest available firmware for my set (KD-55XE8396) is v6.5603. Updating the set through manual or auto update and also USB stick fails to get beyond v6.2858 (v6.5603 is fully downloaded from support site to USB stick) Should I be asking Sony about this or is the latest firmware not fully rolled out yet ? Thanks...

USB update should work in any case. Did you follow the instructions? The pkg file inside the zip archive needs to be extracted to your USB storage. Is the USB storage detected when connecting it? Try to reboot the TV by long-pressing the putton on the remote with the USB storage plugged in. Update should start automatically after boot.

Yes the update appears to perform as expected, the USB stick is detected and system firmware update begins. The problem is that once the process has completed and TV rebooted, the firmware does not roll on to the new version.
