Stand By Power Consumpsion on "KD-55XG8505"

The manual states that the TV should consume 0.5W but there is an exeption for "software/epg update mode" that says 25W. My question is how to turn off the "software/epg update mode" to have a economical TV.

Hi, try this, select [Auto service update] [Off]:

Press the HOME button, then select [Settings] — [Watching TV] — [Channels] — [Channel setup] — [Digital setup] — [Technical setup] — [Auto service update].
