I bought xperia c4 last week and the entire phones performance is lag free. However during browsing be it in chrome or other browsers there is a considerable lag. Phone takes 2 to 3 seconds before responding to the touch/swipe.
I feel this lag in every browsing session. Does anybody else face this issue? How to solve this?

Let's start with Chrome then, try to clear its cache and test again:
- Go to Settings -> Apps -> Chrome -> Force stop and Clear cache.

Chrome is a heavy app and will lag on most mid-range phones, but if you experience this in all your browsers are you sure it's not a connectivity lag?

No its not a connectivity lag. The lag I am talking about is not about content loading. Its about the phone response to my swipe and touch. It stutters as if there is no enough ram. But I have more than 500 mb free.
It happens only in browsers. Not just in chrome. In other browsers as well.
Connectivity on the other hand is really really fast.
