dead as a dodo dsc-hx20v

can anyone help? my camera is as dead as a dodo though battery appears charged (green light on charger) - how do i fix?

It sounds like there is an internal fault within the camera. Your exact course of action will depend upon how long you have owned the camera. If it is less than twelve months, it may be covered by the warranty.
