How do I change the resolution in which video is filmed?

How do I change the resolution in which video is filmed?

My camera used to film up to about 8–9 minutes. It now films only 2–3. But the memory space allocated for filming remains 234MB.

How do I re-set to be able to film 8 minutes again?

I don't think you can resize movies on that model.

I think movies are only shot with the 320 resolution.  Have a look at the manual: -

You need to change the 'Image Size' for movies.

You don't say which Cybershot you have so it may be slightly different.

Select Movie Mode

Choose Fine, Standard or Low and press Image Size again to set..  The lower image size the longer you can record video for.

If this does not seem right for your camera, please let us know the model.

Hi again. I also have the same problem with a DSC-S730 camera. I can see the 'resolution' button but when I press it nothing happens. Do I need to do this via part of the menu? All help appreciated...
