Microphone noise reduction in Sony xz2
The microphone not working properly while talking in call, but it is working nicely in speaker. I have the latest Sony update.

I recall having this issue posted on the old SonyMobile community but we lost access to it until it gets transferred here. IIRC, it was linked to an app taking control of your mic and not releasing it. But as a starter, I suggest that you clear your Phone app cache (which may clear your call log, so back it up first):
Go to Settings -> Apps & notifications -> See all apps -> Phone -> Storage & cache -> Clear storage -> Confirm and restart your phone.

Yeah clearing cache and data of the Phone app is a great way to start. I've had issues reoccurring with the Microphone, and running the test in the Support app is a way to let you know if it's healthy or not.
