Being a ps gamer and collector since ps1 came out, I was excited earlier this year when there was a rumour that ps5 would be backwards compatible all the way to ps1. I have since learned that ps5 will only be backwards as far as ps4 as its software is based on a similar construct to ps4.
Ok Sony, how about emulator software so I play my back catalogue using the ps5? It would certainly be the reason I went out and bought ps5. A nice simple add on in the sony store. Hey presto I can play ex+alpha then a bit of Soulcalibre 2 then flip to tekken7 Bosh 🙂
Would make ps5 a must have... simples!
