i have had mixed luck with connecting this device to a nas. i currently run a dlink nas and this seems to be much better, the main point seems to be that the nas device must have multimedia services and UPnP AV Server enabled so the sony can see it, plus you need to choose which drive you would like to share (if you have a bay nas).
