Sky Q box is connected to HT-ZF9 sound bar by HDMI, 'IN', and 'OUT' and to my KD55-AG8 Bravia TV to it's HDMI3 (ARC) connection.
Is it normal to expect a 12 second delay, which I have, before I see and hear anything on the TV.?
The Sky remote button switches everything on.

TV is on auto updates, and recently received notice the sound bar required an update, which I did. The issue was before and after update.
The issue lies with the sound bar, as I when I switch on using the sky remote I get a blank screen on the TV with AV input info, and a scrolling message on the sound bar, 'Please wait' appears. But a wait of 10-12 seconds seems a bit long?

Since the sound bar is already connected via ARC, you can directly connect Sky to the TV. Could you try this and share with us how it went?
