I have a HTSF200 soundbar . Am happy with sound but have frustrating problem. I have connected to sony bravia 43XG8196BU TV via HDMI ARC. Also have a Humax FVP5000T hard drive recorded connected by another HDMI socket. If Humax is eithe unplugged or switched on, Soundbar works when viewing directly from TV. However if Humax on standby and connected to TV via HDMI then if I try to use soundbar when directly watching TV, it works for anywhere between 30 seconds and 4 minutes then TV speakers take over. Neither sony customer support, retailer nor Humax can explain why.
Any idaes or similar experiences.
