Could you elaborate? 

If you are referring as time change, if you set it up on auto so your network will set up your time, it will change it as soon as it occur, if you are referring as to save battery or extend battery life that's something else.

Has been modified in my time, but did not change the time on my time and my phone is set to automatic update Does this option?

Now that's quite odd, what if you uncheck it > restart your phone > recheck it, perhaps there's an app blocking this

You should contact your local Sony, although I still think that its a network issue
