Xperia M camera flash not working

Hello hope someone can help me.

I have an Xperia M and my camera Led flash some doesn't work at all both using the camera or a flashlight app.

Some days ago I needed to use the flashlight (with a third party app) but battery life was very short, after some minutes device went off but flashlight remained on.

Since then the LED Flash doesn't work at all.

I've already restarted the device and cleared all datas from settings-> apps -> camera.

someone has any tip or hint in order to resolve?

Hi, 

Before taking the phone to a service center you could try to repair the phone software using PC Companion: 

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phones software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone". Follow the instructions in the program.

Remove all third party Apps associated with the flash light and then switch off your phone. Remove the battery, keep the battery removed and have a cup of coffee and after that put the battery back and switch On your phone and check your flash will be working. Hope this will help in your case...

Bring device to technician. in my case they made a repair

Uninstall apps, remove bat. And take a cup of coffee seems legit. Thanks it work.

thanks for this article. mera phone ka flashlight work kene laga. maine same battery nikal kr 30 minutes tkk off rkha phone ko or fir Jbb on kiya to work krne laga.
flashlight ke liye maine Sony service centre ko kitna bura kha galiya dee mujhe lga ki unke pass service me dene ke baad kharab ho gya
sorry for abusing Sony now my phone is ok
