Same here for the 1266-0471!
So far haven't found any issues. Runs smoothly with the same app set than in 4.1.2.
Antututu gave 17858 compared to 4.1.2's ~16200 so 10% better performance in 4.3. That's nice!
btw, I updated with the SUS and wiped all data to factory preset
Verdict for the update is :smileysmileythumbsup:
Greetings!
I'm residing in bangladesh and i'm yet to receive a 4.3 update. Any idea as to why this is happening? Please help.
Ive had the update in the UK, unbranded on EE :smileysmileythumbsup::smileysmileywink: Was a it buggy at first, got the google keyboard crashing all the time, and chrome. With the help from others on here, just uninstalled them then reinstalled them, all ok now. plus as the above have said, an increase on the Antutu app I have noticed it to be speedier ow with 4.3.
And, as with others, I too hate the white background in settings etc!! The power block buttons look out of place on a black/dark wallpaper. Come on Sonyg, bring us a dark theme, pleeeeeeease!
We'll love you more if you do!
Just updated two Xperia T's via PC Companian in the U.K. All going well so far. Both phones were unbranded from Sony UK on the giffgaff network.
Okay, so my phone worked quite nicely with the .199 for couple of days but now it's useless! I'm not able to boot this piece of **bleep** up with SIM inserted! It's on the boot loop. Nice! So it's weekend ahead and my phone is not working and I do not have time to run some god damned SUS or other **bleep** and install all the apps again! SONY, WHY???
EDIT: Okay, disabled the SIM PIN query and now it booted up... It would be nice to know what caused this. Haven't turned my PIN query ON so I feel less secure...
Got mine OTA yesterday on Xperia T in the UK on O2. I bought it from a third party company but new and connected to O2... so not sure if that counts as O2 or unbranded!...
Working fine, appears to have better battery life.
Well so far build 9.2.A.1.199 seems to have essentially bricked my UK unbranded T... randomly dies/restarts, gets stuck in boot loops and even dies while in safe mode... have tried doing SUS & PC Companion to repair and even done a sim swap just so I've covered all bases.
Is this build version working for anyone in the UK with unbranded phone?
Interesting... mine started doing that two weeks before I got any update. It's a year old and has hardly crashed before. It's been if anything more stable since the update. Boot loop lets me get to the security screen or just beyond and then resets. Most of the time it's fine though, particularly when >60% battery. And as you say happens in safe mode too. I hadn't mentioned as I don't think this is related to the update at all and am toying with whether to return the phone.
