My new Sony Bravia TV KD49X7053
has a Sony TV Remote RMT - TX 300E
Is it possible to sync this remote to the Humax Sat Nav Box so that I can change TV channels without having to use the Humax Remote Control ?
Any advice would be appreiated

The answer depends on your box really. The TV supports Bravia Sync (AKA Control for HDMI): https://helpguide.sony.net/tv/gaepl3/v1/en/070opt-01.html
There should be an equivalent option on the box for this to work.
