I've just purchased the Bravia EX537 and have set up my favourite channels and can see them in the guide. But then, after choosing to watch a channel from the favourites in the guide, when pressing the 'Prog' or Channel up and down buttons on the remote it scrolls through all channels, not just favourites. This is unlike any other TV i've had, usually setting up favourites means these are the only channels you see, which is what you want.
Is there a way to scroll up and down only through favourites?
Thanks!
Hello,
Dont know if this helps (attached), sorry the model name is not known to me.
Maybe it is EX503
Anyway it seems you need to press the "Heart" key.

I have the same problem (a new KDL46-EX720). I can follow all the instructions above up to number 2.8.
Where exactly is the "Heart" key on the remote ? (RM-ED044) Apologies for the fuzzy image, taken from my scanner !
The centre of the wheel has a cross on it and does not appear to do anything (I don't get the Favourites bar)

KDL-46EX655
did you have any luck?
We have the same remote, with a KD-49X8309C tv.
We found the favourites by going Action > Menu > favourite set up.
But having chosen the channels we cant work out how to access them as a guide.
To change guide to favourites, Press guide, press discover, then scroll down to favourite press OK ( centre button)
On controller Press >guide then > action menu
then navigate on screen drop down to "guide source"
okay that and you can select whichever favourite list you've set up.
Alternatively, the Discover menu allows a scroll down to a thumbnail strip of current programmes based on favourites lists.
(took a a bit of working out)
"To change guide to favourites, Press guide, press discover, then scroll down to favourite press OK ( centre button)"
Thank you Buddy, that's how I finally found it, but... this is not what I was looking for, and I think that's not what others had in mind either, not your fault
let me just rant for a minute, I took the time to actually create an account on here just to vent how ***** off I am at SONY and their horrible product(s) totally unintuitive and you would expect much much better from such an established electronics company, ***** if the LG refrigerator company can make an awesome easy to use TV than why shouldn't SONY
anyway doing what you suggested gets me into the FAVORITES but it does not hide the stupid channels in the guide which is what I am after, I don't want to scroll through all the dumb sub channels on a digital antena feed you know
3.1
3.2
3.3
10.1
10.2
10.3
13.1
13.2
13.3
I just want
3.1
10.1
13.1
etc...
Well if I am so upset why did I buy a SONY, well I didn't it was a gift, yes a very generous gift, but you have to tell these idiots that you are not happy with their stupid product regardless if it was FREE or not, man they are as bad as IBM in the computer world
