Another Network Media Receiver problem!!!

For some reason, I can't select the 'TV' option on the NMR. With 'Music', 'Video' and 'Photos', I get the option 'RZ424' under list of servers and everything's fine. But with 'TV', I just get "..can't find selected server..".

Weirdly, I can launch TV through VAIO Media on the PC, just not on the NMR. Any thoughts?

It's a long shot but have you tried re-registering the server?

The RA104 doesn't allow watching live TV through NMR

R104 may not, but I'm certain my RZ424 used to! It just stopped working. Not a big issue really, seems a pointless feature to watch TV through it anyway when I can just select a TV channel on the TV!

SORTED..!

Finally fixed it by disabling Firewall, unregistering NMR from VAIO Media, getting new IP address, then re-registering. Not sure why it helped but it did.

It might be handy if you need to watch TV on a TV which only has a poor ariel.
