Another Problem, DVD Writer problem!

When I try burning a disc in nero it starts then just before it gets to 1% it says -

PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-K12D

Internal target failure

Burn process failed

So I tired another program, Tried Roxio Easy meadia creator 7.5 and it gave me a different error message same simptoms as above.

Message -

E:PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-K12D (HARDWARE ERRO. "[04/44/D9])

Does anyone know what this means? could this be another driver problem? I can't see it being a driver problem as I have burnt DVD successfully for a whole year now.

Please help laptop seems to be letting me down alot 😞

This must be extremely frustrating netman. I am afraid that reports on this forum suggest that e-support is not reliable or fast but stick with it. In the meantime have you had a look on Vaio-Link for any updates that may solve this problem?
