Backlight Flashing

i have a Pcg Grt915M and when i turn de vaio on the backlight starts to blinks lightly 5 times and turns off again.
I tought it was the inverter and bought a new one and replaced it i am still having the same problems
The vaio is almost 2 years old could it be the backlight that has to be replaced?
One time it was working fine for 2 days again and then again it went dead

i would try checking all the electrical connections to and from the screen its hard to say if its the screen or something else without looking at it.. as i say check the connectors and pins etc that could be the problem.

i hope my s3 lasts 2 years!!!!! from the things i have read on here i dont know

It's probably either a connection/cable or failed backlight.
