Vgc M1 keyboard / hifi / soundflow problem....

i have just bought my first vaio, a vgc m1. I can't get the automatic 'hifi' function to activate when i close the keyboard.... can anyone offer some suggestions? many thanks in advance. cheers

You need to get the keyboard update from www.vaio-link.com

Have u check the software called SoundFlow is installed in Start up Folder? if not you won't have this Hi Fi function..

Although my keyboard is faulty ( get a 2nd hand stuff.. hehe ) but when i flip up the keyboard and doesn't have any problemz.. cool time and images as well.!!!:smileycool:

thank you thank you thank you!!! all this time..... i had it installed but it wasnt in start up folder.... i cut and pasted it to the folder and it works..... only problem is now i dont know how to use it?!?!? how do i get rid of all the rubbish sample music and just have my own music in there? also how to i add a picture and can i listen to radio through it? sorry for all the questions but your the first person able to help me!:smileygrin:

Next thing you ask about the sample music. I actually didn't use it so much as well. but I can understand that you have to configure the music files vai VAIO Zone software. Then go to settings to configure the music folders that you have putted. The Sample music are placed in C Drive. IMHO the music have to be 128 bit rate .. if not you can't see ur music on the hifi stuff.

Then about the radio.. what kind of radio are u refering? Online Radio or ur local radio? I just know that this PC support TV channel, not on local radio ... About the pictures.. try go to Vaio Zone software again and you shall insert ur pictures at there ( or i mean shared so that you can view, no need to copy and paste the folder .. )

ps: updated ... any bitrate of mp3 are acceptable.. you have to let the Vaio Zone to find the files first in order to play those lovely mp3 songs. Meanwhile about the pictures on SoundFlow, it is not possible to insert pictures on there. That is just the animation .. you won't be viewing any pictures on the Keyboard Flip Close but the pictures will be viewing in Vaio Zone.. Anything wrong please do correct me.
