Battery Problem Please Help!

I have a sony VGN-NR21Z/s - I have just bought a new battery for this laptop and my laptop will not pick up the new battery.. I recieved a CD for the drivers but when i run this says the battery installed must be 100% battery life, and it is only 20% what can i do ????????????????????

Is this a genuine Sony battery?

There are lots of cheap third-party batteries offered for sale on the web that are not compatible with your Vaio.
