Changing RSS feeds on VAIO Gate

I have been trying to change the RSS feeds on the VAIO gate, as I do not want to be bombarded with microsoft adverts. Firstly I deleted all the RSS feeds in internet explorer and replaced them with my own but now the gate doesnt display any RSS feeds at all.

Have you checked that the RSS feeds work correctly within Internet Explorer.?
