I want to ask a question for those who use Vaios with Cylendrical hinges. Guys when you open or close you laptop's lid do you hear some kind creaking sound, similar to the one you get from doors with rusty joints? I use the VPC12C7E Vaio, all round is an excellent, thin, state of the art machine but everytime I hear this sound it makes me feel my PC is getting old, when checked around all the hinges I found no cracks or even scratches since it's a 4 weeks old machine which I have never dropped or knocked.
It might be general design malfunction, can anyone shed some light on this issue?
