All the time when i play games i randomly get HUGE fps drop the fps goes down to 1 and the CPU usage goes up to 80-100%
So ive had this for a long time and cant seem to find the problem. so i decided to check the temperature on the computer.
My Computer:
Inte(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU Q740 @ 1.73 GHz (8 CPUs)
6 gb ram
Nvidia Geforce GT 330M
Posting here just to be sure.

Hi jonasgrenaa,
Those temperatures are way too high and passive cooling will have kicked in reducing processor speed - hence the slow frame rate. I'm very supprised you haven't experienced forced shutdown.
You could try cleaning the cooling vents using compressed air (Air Duster) but disassembly may be necessary for a thorough clean.

I’m not sure what else to suggest. As I assume that this only happens when playing games it would seem to be the gaming software that is causing the problem. Have you managed to find which application is using all the CPU?
