Hi guys, i have just bought a new Vaio VGN-FS215Z Laptop and i want to tranfer video from my MV630i Canon Camcorder.
The problem i have is that the DV (IEEE 1394) Cable that plugs into my desktop will not plug into my new laptop, although there is a (ieee1394) S400 port on my laptop, the connection is the wrong way round and only the small end of the cable fits into the laptop and not the large end as it does on my desktop, which means there is no where on my video camera to plug the large end of the cable into. Do i need a different cable/connection?
I hope this all makes sense to someone out there.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Jim :smileyblush:
Brazil has strong connections in Japan and Germany because Brazil was where post WW2 disgruntled empire builders settled. Hence many products get showcased here but I still find the buying muscle of the US and British markets are 10% cheaper overall. Nothing to do with the thread but there you go.
I never knew that, so it's all good
