Internal sound with external HDMI monitor

Hi,

I have connected an external monitor via HDMI,

Can I, and if so how? do I still get the sound from my PC speakers?

Now, I have no sound if i for exemple watch a yuotube clip...

do you get sound via your HDMI monitor.?

Does your HDMI monitor have speakers.?

Have you checked the audio settings on your Vaio.?

These can be found in control panel - sound - try setting the default to speakers/headphones.

Click on the advanced tab to test..

My HDMI don't have speakers, just an output for headphones

I suppose that the sound goes to the monitor, when connected to HDMI,

but I still want to get the sound from the internal PC speakers - is this possible?

Do you get sound from your vaio when not connected to your HDMI monitor.?

When your vaio is connected to your HDMI monitor have you checked the audio settings on your Vaio.?
