Big browser problem here!
I just formatted the drive to solve it, but it still happens. Is this
my processor, my mother board or something else?
When I open a page on my desctop, any page, even a blanck one created by rightclick and select
create HTML document, the page takes about 5-10 seconds to open! The top window is black while
it opens, then it clears, and pop, it's done.
When a program is running it hardly opens. And I noticed when office 2003 pro is installed,
it just takes twice as long to open.
Now, when I open a page n the desktop, then reduce it to the the toolbar, and then open
HTML pages on the desktop, they open as fast as ever.
I us AOL, SP2, Mackafee firewall, AVG anti-virus.
What causes this? I did get a new processor.
Get LavaSoft AdAware, SpyBot and sweep your HDD for spyware/malware. The links can be found on Google. You could also try Mozilla FireFox - it is a better alternative to Internet Explorer.
sounds like you have a virus or a program playing up what did you all install and run after the clean install ? what have you all downloaded after the format ?
