my new FE21H has become soo slow!! need help

hi, i bought my sony vaio VGN-FE21H about one month ago, and have recently been having problems, since it has become very slow. i have barely loaded any new programs onto the laptop so i am at a loss as to what is going on.
Please could someone advise me what to do and how to speed it back up again (btw the laptop doesnt have any viruses).

Hello. We have the same problem. We recently bought a Sony Vaio Model PCG-21313M and it is incredibly slow. Firstly to download everything and now to access the internet (via a dongle). We haven't done anything with it aside from download what was recommended.

I am not an internet wizard at all and don't know what to do. I would like to return it as frankly it has been a complete waste of time. Any advice??
