My Vaio Pocket loses power

Ive had my Vaio pocket for about 4 months now. I have noticed that lately, it loses power even when it is switched off! I fully charged it, used it for an hour, then switched it off, i have just this minute gone to switch it on, and I get nothing at all...Sucks as it cost a small fortune..Other than that I love the thing....and trying to get hold of Sony is like trying to get the lottery numbers...

I had same problem with battery and took it back to the shop I bought it from as i thought it was a fault with the battery. They contacted Sony who said the machine went into standby when you switch it off. That it was actually impossible to shut is down so it didn't drain any power. I thought this was a load of cobblers so I rang Sony myself, who repeated the above. Although relieved my machine wasn't knackered, I also thought it was a bit daft.

I don't know if this helps there is a post from which i contributed about 2 pages backwards that discusses this issue. I don't know if it is a similar issue.
