my vaio's touch screen function doesn't work?

whenever i touch the screen nothing happens did i disactivate the ouch screen can someone helpmy i have windows xp

What Vaio model do you have?

You say you are running XP? Is that correct?

I may be wrong but I thought Sony use the Windows touch pack which only works with Windows 7.
