NEED DRIVERS FOR OLD VGN-NR32m

`I have an old  VGN-NR32m which as served me well i ve upgraded it to windows 10 and looking for compatible drivers,  the main one is the ACPI\SNY5001 which is the  firmware extension parser device , the driver is missing 

Please help i ve tryed a couple but there not compatible for w10 i guess

Hi SUEBEAR69 and welcome!

Sony will not be supporting your Vaio for Windows 10 due to its age but I would expect most of the Windows 8 drivers to work OK.

The SFEP Driver and the SFEP Driver sustaining Patch for Windows Vista are on the Sony Support Website for your model and I think these will work for any 32-bit operating system.

If these do not work we will need to look for an updated SFEP Driver from another Vaio Model but most of these are for a 64-bit Microsoft Operating System. I presume you have installed Windows 10 32-bit?

Try the ones above first and if they do not work, or if you have 64-bit Windows 10, come back and we will try something else.

Hi  i saved the file to my pc and did a computer searh install and i am glad tosay a driver was installed 8.0.2.4
