Why do you need the recovery disks? If your computer came without recovery disks it will have a Hard Disk Drive Recovery partition. You can burn your recovery disks using Vaio recovery tools; Click Start, All Programs, VAIO Recovery Tools, and then click VAIO Recovery CD Wizard.

Yep a lot cheaper to buy decent DVDs and burn a few copies for backup purposes (keep some in a safe, one in your notebook bag etc)
