Sleep mode

Hi All

How do i set the time period before my vaio goes into hibernation or sleep mode.

Hi Glyn,

You haven’t stated your model by try this:

Click Start > All Programs and scroll down to and select Vaio Control Center.

Expand Power Management and select Vaio Power Management Viewer.

Click the Advanced button, scroll down to Sleep and expand. You should then have the option to set the period of inactivity on both battery and plugged in before sleep (click the blue text to adjust)

I previously got to the power managment settings but would never have found the advanced.
